I’m obsessed with seeing my newborns at their one year cake smash! It never ceases to amaze me how much babies grow and change in just one year. Olivia was the cutest little nugget at 8 days old (check out her newborn session here!) and she just got even more adorable.
We got some simple shots first, showcasing Olivia’s gorgeous pink dress and then moved on to the cake smash set. Her mom requested a floral/butterfly/fairy theme and I think it turned out absolutely perfect 🦋
This little dude turned ONE and I was honored to help celebrate him! Layton’s parents chose a blue, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star theme, which was absolutely adorable paired with his precious outfits. He definitely enjoyed his time in front of the camera, reading his favorite book and hamming it up while munching on cake!
I met baby Carter when he was just a tiny newborn (check out his newborn session here!) and he’s just gotten even cuter! When his mom contacted me to schedule his first birthday session, I couldn’t believe that it had already been almost a whole year.
First, we got some simple shots of Carter and then we moved to his cake smash set, which was nautical themed. It was absolutely adorable, complete with anchor accents and a sailboat (for cake smashes, I provide the set up with your input/vision and then you bring baby, outfit(s), and the cake). He wasn’t so sure about the cake at first, but he eventually decided that it was the best 😍
Ezio had the squishiest cheeks and most adorable smile! I was honored to capture this super sweet milestone moment for his family. Ezio showcased his personality, especially when it came to the cake!
We got some shots before the cake smash- just some simple photos in the most precious outfit. He was quite a mover, so getting these images was a workout, but definitely a reflection of this stage of his new toddlerhood! His mama requested a fishing-themed cake smash set and it turned out perfectly 🐟🎣
This was one of the best cake smashes ever! Sweet Benjamin’s mama requested a simple Mickey Mouse theme with blue/white accents. It turned out so adorable (those suspenders and ears 😍)and Benjamin definitely enjoyed his cake!
